The fan is running but there is no heat. I have checked the outside vents for blockages. There don’t appear to be any.

There’s power to your furnace.
On the inside of the cover panel for the furnace there should be sticker listing what the flashes mean. While I do not know exactly what your 2 blinking lights mean, it is most likely telling you that there was a problem lighting the flame. I say this because you say the fan is running. Typically a furnace control system will attempt to light the burner 3 or more times and then go into a lockout condition. When it goes into a lockout, it stops trying to light the flame and turns the fan on to run constantly to make sure there is no buildup of fuel in the burner area. You can reset a lockout condition by turning power to the furnace OFF for about 30 seconds and then turning it back ON. The furnace should then attempt to light. If resetting the lockout condition does not do the trick for you, you will need to have a qualified hvac service technician come in and troubleshoot the problem. You can call Trane directly and speak with the technical support people and they can tell you what the indicator light is telling you. You will need to have the model and serial number from the furnace. Trane has offices nationwide and should be listed in your local phone book.
